STRICKLAND BROTHERS OIL CHANGE – KANNAPOLIS, NC

Daylight Engineering designed and permitted a new Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change facility located at 1021 Gateway Ave. in Kannapolis, NC.  The project did not originally meet the zoning requirements for the site, so Daylight worked with the City of Kannapolis staff to write and gain approval of a zoning text amendment to enable the project.  Once the zoning was secured, the project design included a new 1,742 sf building with associated parking, utility service, and landscaping.  The site design also contemplated the future development of the neighboring parcel with utility stubs and site layout for interconnectivity.
