UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The City of Mount Airy is making exciting changes to the heart of the downtown district with the addition of The Granstone Conference Center, a new state of the art conference center for hosting conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, private gatherings, and special events of all kinds.  Sitting on the grounds of the former Spencer’s textile mill, the new conference center will be adjacent to the Balladeer Hotel currently under construction.  Daylight Engineering partnered with Workplace Architecture and Design and Sitework Studios on this project, providing civil engineering design for the site grading, utilities, stormwater and erosion control for this exciting project.  Currently under construction, the project is projected to be completed in fall of 2026.  Read more about the Granstone Conference Center here.
