Horizons Residential Care Center has been serving Winston-Salem and greater Forsyth County  since 1973 by creating an inclusive community that empowers and serves exceptional children and adults through compassionate residential care.  This project was the first phase of a multi-phased effort to provide an expansion and improvement to the existing facility.  When fully completed, the Rural Hall campus will have seven new, six -bedroom cottages built to serve the individuals at Horizons. The new cottages are rooted in providing a residential environment while continuing to offer an increased level of care to the residents.  Partnering with Workplace Architecture and Design, Daylight provided civil engineering services, including conceptual design, master planning and phasing, civil engineering design and permitting, and construction phase services for this important facility to serve the greater Winston-Salem and Forsyth County Community.
