STEPHEN M. MORRIS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER – CONCORD, NC

The Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center is a state-of-the-art, $41M mental health services facility that will open to Cabarrus County in 2025.  This 59,300 SF facility includes urgent care and residential treatment for adults, adolescents and children. Daylight Engineering was pleased to team with human eXperience to bring this project to life.  Daylight Engineering provided full civil site design for the project, including evaluation of the existing stormwater site infrastructure and design and permitting of a new stormwater detention facility, preservation of the existing site including the campus circulation infrastructure and landscaping, and on-site coordination with the architectural design for an extensive park-like entry plaza.
